Aaron's first Cowboy game!

Aaron got to go to his first Cowboys game today. He seemed like he had fun. He enjoyed looking around more than he actually watched the game. He also slept through most of the 3rd quarter.

The game was against the Vikings. Cowboys won 16 to 10.

Half a year!

Aaron just turned 6 months old on Monday. He's growing a lot. We're a little off on scheduling the 6 month appointment, so I'll have to save telling how big for later, but he's definitely growing very well. In fact, he's already wearing 9/12 clothes!

He's able to "spin" himself in a circle, though he's not crawling or pushing himself around yet. He can sit up with support, but hasn't figure out how to get to a sitting position yet. He can stand up with support. He really likes looking around when he can.

I'll pass more info on after we visit the doctor.

Can you believe it?!

Yesterday, Aaron turned 5 months old! It's hard to believe, but it's true! He is growing by leaps and bounds.

He's eating rice and oatmeal cereal regularly and we're about to start him on some vegetables. In fact, I need to go to the store later to get some squash for us.

Oh, I almost forgot. He's teething! We took him to the doctor this last week because he had a hard time sleeping last weekend and had been coughing a lot. Since both mom and big brother had been sick the two weekends before, there was some concern that he might be sick to, so we went to check it out. Turns out he just needed some Oragel. Feeling his gums, it seems like a couple are about to break through, so in a few days, you may see a post about his first tooth!

I'll get a pic soon and get it posted.

Aaron's new move!

Aaron just turned over from his back onto his stomach! It's the first time he's done this move. We've seen him roll from front onto his back, but this is the first time he went the other way.

He's doing pretty good, though his brother isn't doing great at the moment.

Saw him doing that, and just wanted to celebrate! :D

Four months old!

Daddy feeding AaronIt is hard to believe, but Aaron is now 4 months old already!

We took Aaron to the doctor today. He weighed 15.5 pounds and is 23(?) inches tall. I'm not sure on the height, but it was in that neighborhood. The doctor said he is growing good and is a healthy baby boy.

He's a happy baby. He loves to laugh and smile. He loves his big brother, too. Aaron will just sit and watch his brother and just smile and laugh at him.

Aaron has also started making noises, particularly raspberries as he blows bubbles. He'll just sit there and do that for 10 or fifteen minutes.

Aaron takes a biteOne of the things we found out today was that Aaron could start eating "solid" food. We had to stop to get some formula while we were out, so I went ahead and got a box of rice cereal as well. The pictures you see here are from his first day of trying it.

Well, we'll get to more later. Bye.

Welcome to Aaron's Area!

Okay... After months of not putting up a page for Aaron, I decided I needed a little help. So I'm going to try this -- a blog format. This makes making a "quick post" easy as the "template" is already done for me and all I have to do is write the post.

Eventually, I will get a page up for Aaron, and as I do, I'll integrate this blog with the page so that things are seamless. That way, I can combine the vast data and pictures of the website pages with the quicky posting of this blogging page!

The template here is just a temporary template until I can design one of my own and figure out how to get it to work.

In the next post, I'll put up a recent picture and tell about what happened with Aaron today that was fun and exciting!
